I grew up in the beautiful countryside of Normandy, France. I wasn't raised in a bilingual family. I taught myself English as a teenager, on my own, with no tutor, no immersion program, nothing. Just me and the internet. It took years. I made every mistake possible. But I figured out what actually works and more importantly, what doesn't.

That journey changed the way I teach French. Because I don't just know the language, I know what it feels like to be on your side. The frustration of not understanding. The fear of speaking. The feeling of being stuck and wondering if you'll ever get there.

I founded Learn French With Clémence in 2021 and since then I've helped thousands of students around the world go from stuck and frustrated to confident and conversational. My approach is simple.
